On Tuesday 2nd June 2009 Nabil Bank formally inaugurated 4 Branches in the Kathmandu Valley. Mr. Satyendra Pyara Shrestha, Chairman of Nabil Bank and former Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank inaugurated the Branch in the presence of the Bank’s customers, Directors and officials.
On Tuesday 2nd June 2009 Nabil Bank formally inaugurated 4 Branches in the Kathmandu Valley. Mr. Satyendra Pyara Shrestha, Chairman of Nabil Bank and former Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank inaugurated the Branch in the presence of the Bank’s customers, Directors and officials.
Nabil Bank believes that as the nation’s first joint venture bank it should always break new ground and set new trends in doing things. In keeping with this philosophy last fiscal year for the first time in the history of banking in Nepal, Nabil Bank had electronically inaugurated 9 new branches in one day at one function. This time in a synchronized inauguration Chairman Shrestha inaugurated all four branches one after the other starting in the morning with Thamel Branch, then Halchowk Branch, before proceeding to Kaushaltar Branch and then finally Naya Baneshwar Branch.
In keeping with the Bank’s mission to be the 1st Choice Provider of Complete Financial Solutions of all its stakeholders, the Bank announced the commencement of the second phase of its branch network expansion strategy. The first phase was the opening of nine branches in rural and semi-urban areas last fiscal year. In the second phase the Bank is opening 9 branches in Kathmandu Valley, of which 4 were inaugurated today. With the formal inauguration of the four new Branches, Nabil Bank now has 32 points of representation, spread across the nation.
