Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCOMS) Pokhara, Nepal announces admissions to its MBBS degree for the batch commencing August 2009. The last date for submission of applications is 15th July 2009.
Admissions are based on merit; and to be eligible for this programme applicants should have a minimum aggregate of 50% at the 10+2 level or at an equivalent examination. The four and a half years of the MBBS course is divided into nine semesters, each six months in duration. On successful completion of the 4 ½ year MBBS degree course students will have to undergo one year of compulsory residential rotating internship.

All Indian national students seeking admission at MCOMS and who are interested in practicing in India on graduation will be required to obtain an eligibility certificate from the Medical Council of India prior to their enrollment at MCOMS. They will also have to clear the screening test, post obtaining their degree certificate, in order to practice upon their return to India.

The 30 acre Phulbari campus, has the 700 bed Manipal Teaching Hospital (MTH), clinical teaching departments and hostels for clinical students.
